Covington Welcomes New Boys' Varsity Head Basketball Coach
Covington is very pleased to announce Mr. Troy Bever as our new boys varsity head coach! Troy has been a part of the coaching staff here at Covington since 1993 & has been teaching here since 2000. Some of Troy’s coaching experiences & achievements include:

Troy is a life-long Covington resident. He & his wife, Jenni, have been married & lived here for 33 years. They are the proud parents of two Covington graduates, Ty (2019) & Trey (2020).
Coach Bever’s coaching concept is a ‘we before me’ attitude in which players in his program will play hard, respect the game, & respect the tradition that the Covington basketball program has shown, not only throughout his coaching tenure but also back when he played (1982-86) & long before.
