MoCo Pickup Ball Hockey is a pickup group that plays co-ed adult ball hockey (also known as floor or dek hockey) in various Montgomery County, Maryland Rec Centers every week for one low price. Adults = 18+

If you have never played before, it is played on foot with a ball and anyone can play. This is a perfect atmosphere for new players as well as those looking to improve their skills. We current

ly play pick-up in three different venues each week. This is one of the best deals available for how much opportunity there is to play and it ties into any other MoCo Rec activity. Saturday: Pending County action to help our program, Saturday night hockey has been temporarily suspended. I will update this post once a resolution has been reached. COST TO PLAY: In order to play hockey at the Montgomery County REC centers delineated above, you have to be a member of Montgomery County Rec. Membership rates remain phenomenal and purchasing a center pass provides you the opportunity to not only play hockey at all of our centers, but to play ANY open sport at the rec centers PLUS use of the weight room/exercise room and the game room. Membership includes use of the weight rooms, game rooms as well as the jogging track at Wheaton and the ability to play any open sport at any Rec center, including hockey :) Offsite events, such as our Holiday Series of Hockey, are not included and may require separate payment.

For non-residents, options are $20 for a month-long membership, $80 for 6 months, $150.00 for 1 year. All membership include access to our hockey program, the use of workout and weightrooms, and access to the game rooms in addition to the ability to play any open-gym sport such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor soccer, ping-pong and pickleball.
