A New Era for High School Girls Rugby: The Madtown Furies Rebrand to South Central Sirens Rugby Club
MADISON, WI – Since its inception, our club has been defined by strength, grit, and a fierce dedication to the sport of rugby. Today, we are proud to announce a major milestone in our history. The Madtown Furies are officially rebranding as the South Central Sirens Rugby Club.
This change is more than just a name; it is a reflection of our growth. While "Madtown" served us well for over a decade, our club has expanded far beyond the city limits. By becoming the South Central Sirens, we are better positioning ourselves to embrace and represent the incredible communities across Dane County and the greater South Central Wisconsin region.
Honoring Our Legacy
While we look toward the future, we remain deeply rooted in our past. We are incredibly proud of our legacy as the Madtown Furies. To the former coaches who built this foundation, the players who gave it all for us, and the supporters who cheered from the sidelines: thank you. You are the reason we have reached this point, and you will always be a part of our club’s legacy and our future.
Our name is changing, but our core remains untouched. Our focus on athlete development, our commitment to the growth of girls’ rugby, and our passion for the sport are stronger than ever.
We are inviting all athletes to 'Hear the Call' and join a community built on empowerment and excellence.

The South Central Sirens (formerly Madtown Furies) is a high school girls' rugby club dedicated to fostering leadership, physical fitness, and community for athletes across Dane County and South Central Wisconsin.
