Mood. Retro earthy vibes. Sunny with a cool breeze on a tropical white sand beach. Hiking through a dense redwood forest to find a meadow filled with wildflowers. Condensing all of this into our line of natural fiber sports apparel.

Having fun with the Naia rep at the functional fabric fair. It’s going to be a process getting the sourcing and design of our athletic wear just right…so might as well have fun in the process 😋

What is circular fashion? For us it starts with designing and producing garments that don’t harm the earth during their entire life cycle. Starting with the growth and processing of the raw materials that are made into fibers, to making those fibers into fabric, to making that fabric into rad clothing designed to last a lifetime, to distributing those clothes and minimizing waste and ultimately encouraging the mending, reuse and reselling of those clothes that eventually biodegrade and become nutrients for future raw materials. Non-toxic clothes for the planet and for you!

While recycled polyester may have a lower impact on the environment compared to virgin polyester, it is NOT the answer for “sustainable” fashion. It is ultimately plastic so there are still microplastics shedding into the environment and polluting the ocean and soil, there are still BPAs leaching into our skin, it is not an efficient use of recycled plastic bottles and it does not increase the circularity of clothes.
