What a great weekend at the THSBA State Tournament on Lake Texoma!

We are incredibly proud of our CHS Bass Fishing teams for representing our school so well against some of the best anglers in the state. Out of 110 schools and 185 teams, our anglers competed with determination, sportsmanship, and heart.

🎣 Cole and Kash finished in 67th place and brought in a Big Bass weighing 4.72 lbs!

🎣 Corbin and Luke finished in 154th place and landed a Big Bass weighing 3.03 lbs!

Lake Texoma brought the heat, long days, and tough fishing conditions, but both teams worked hard all weekend. The boys pre-fished on Friday and then competed both tournament days, showing dedication and perseverance from start to finish.

A huge THANK YOU goes to our amazing Boat Captains, Chet Brake and Brandon Bates. Thank you for giving up your weekend, sharing your boats, and investing your time in these young anglers. This program would not be possible without volunteers like you.

Congratulations to all four anglers on a successful State Tournament appearance! We can’t wait to see what next season brings.

🎣 Next up: The 2026-2027 season kicks off in September at Cedar Creek Lake!

Day 1:
Cole and Kash made 38th place out of 185 teams.

Corbin and Luke blanked out.

Good Luck guys on Day 2!
