The other night on Veterans Day, I stopped at In-N-Out for dinner. I handed out a Cudgel poster, and mentioned our film award for, For My Brothers to Charlie.

Charlie said he just watched For My Brothers a couple of days ago with his dad —they have generations of military veterans in the family also, and they were moved by Sammy’s story.

Hearing how the film resonated with him and his father was humbling and reminded me why we tell these stories.

We’re happy to share that “For My Brothers” has been named a finalist for Best Vietnam Short Film at the MV Shorts LA Festival.
This film was made to honor the courage, brotherhood, and sacrifice of those who served — especially MOH Recipient Sammy Lee Davis. Their stories continue to inspire us all.
