****TRYOUTS THIS SUNDAY******

It's that time of year again when we get to spend all of our days at the Hockey Rink :) We are looking to have final Try-outs and a parents meeting on Sunday, August 28th at 8:30am. Tryouts will be on the ice at 8:30 am and a parents meeting to follow. We will have paperwork to fill out at the meeting and will be able to answer any questions that people have for this next upcoming season. The coaches and I are very excited for this next hockey season and we hope to take the next step forward with the girls for more competition this next year.

We have a rough idea of what tournaments we are looking at and will have set Travel Team weekend practices. We will have all of these dates for everyone available at the parents meeting. If your daughter is not available to make it to the tryouts please let me know ahead of time and we will attempt to make other arrangements. Tryout fees will be $35 per child. Any checks written for this will need to be written out to ICH (Iowa City/Coralville Hockey).

*** 2016-2017 TEAM TRYOUTS! APRIL 23rd ******

The Eastern Iowa Lady Hawks are entering their second year in existence and have made great strides since the begging of last season. The team has become quite competitive and, by the end of the season, was competing with Minnesota A and B teams as well as Wisconsin A teams. This competitiveness is slated to continue into the 2016-2017 season as the team continues to grow.

This year’s team will be a 15U girls travel hockey team which will be participating in girl’s hockey tournaments in Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Minnesota. There is also the potential of expanding and having a 12U team as well.

Team Tryouts information:

Date: Saturday, April 23rd, 2016

Time: 4:30-5:45 pm

Location: Coral Ridge Ice Arena, 1451 Coral Ridge Ave, Coralville, IA (Southside of the mall)

Cost: $15 per player

Please pass this information on to any girls who may be interested in playing. Options available for girls over 60 miles from Iowa CIty.
