Well it's been quite the past couple of years folks.

I sure hope you are all doing well and getting excited for the upcoming 2024 deer season that's rapidly approaching. Yet another year has just about past.

33 degrees outside this morning and spitting snow but we still managed to pull 98 of these black beauties.

Had a great weekend fishing the Detroit river with my Dad. We didn't kill the eyes this trip but still got some good eaters to bring back home.

Question for everyone...

Last night while driving to work I had a doe and two fawns jump out in front of me a little ways. I was able to slow down and watch them pass into the neighboring corn feild. While waiting for them to cross I catch a glimpse out of my right eye and when I look over standing just off the road was a fully polished 8 point. I kid you not 4-30-2021 Montcalm county...

I've been trying to do some research on why I'd still see a buck that would still have its horns?

Does anyone else happen to know why this would be? Has anyone else ever seen this before?
