This is an open tryout for both Copley-Fairlawn and non Copley-Fairlawn residents.

Their coaching staff is returning for their 5th year of coaching the Copley team.

We typically play a partial SSBL schedule (10-15 games) with games typically within 20-30 minutes of Akron and 4 to 5 tournaments per year both Open and Community Plus for a total of 30-40 games dependent of weather throughout early April to the end of June. All tournaments are typically local within an hour of Copley with no overnight travel. Home games are played at Copley Fairlawn Middle School with dirt / crushed red brick surface and regulation 60 foot pitching mound accommodating 54 feet. Players that make our summer team for 2027 will also be invited to play on our fall 2026 team which will be played in the SSBL and may include a fall tournament. Estimation of costs are $700-$900 per player for the 2027 summer season which includes uniforms, winter training, league fees, facility fees, field charges and is all inclusive. The fall season is typically around $200 for the season. We typically roster 11 players and continuous roster bat giving all players playing time.

Winter practices will be held in Norton off of Cleveland Massillon road starting with optional hitting and physical training practice twice per week (1.5 hrs per session) throughout November and December. Mandatory practice will begin in January twice per week (1.5 hrs per session) through the beginning of the outdoor season. Pitching lessons are incorporated into these practices for all players starting in February.
