Well its been some very interesting the last couple months for me and everyone around. Going in and out of hospitals, surgery, and orthopedic therapy and then in recovery for a while made it almost impossible to get any work done, but we still did when we could. Special thanks to my family members for stepping up and helping me out when I couldn't get the job done.
I had a severe blood infection to my left hand and spent a few days in the hospital a couple months ago, then was able to recover and ended up back in the hospital a few days later this time was even worse and for a very long time. I cut the carpal tunnel and a bunch of nerves in my left hand just a 1 1/2 inch away from the original blood infection, I had no movement, no strength, and no feeling in my fingers, I never knew how hard life and trying to work with one hand can be until it actually happens. Went into surgery and into a hard cast for a while, then into a brace and is a long road to recovery. Doctors told me to lay low and only do fine tune work for the next couple months and keep going to therapy. Just a couple days ago the therapist gave me the okay to start mounting small projects no big game animals for a bit. So I mounted a squirrel it took me 3 times longer than normal because of the movement and strength it takes, my fingers had to take breaks every 2 to 3 minutes in order to keep going. All in all, I can say it was a life lesson I learned the hard way and will never forget because I have the scars to remember.
I truly appreciate everyone's patience with me while they waited for there mount to be done!
