What a great week in the gym!

We loved seeing so many young players at camp and watching them learn, compete, and have fun. A huge thank you to our high school girls for giving their time and being such great role models. The future of Coopersville Girls Basketball is bright!

Summer Work Never Stops… But This Week It Does!

We’ve packed a lot into June, and we’re incredibly thankful for the opportunities our girls had to grow together both on and off the court.

From an awesome week at Cedar Point Team Camp, to battling talented teams in the Upper Peninsula, to our GVSU Team Camp for the JV and Varsity teams, the freshmen competing at the Courthouse Team Camp, Bronco Strength sessions with Coach Wood, and all of our summer scrimmages—our players have put in the work.

We wrapped it all up with one last morning of pickup basketball before enjoying a fun Beach Day in Grand Haven. It was the perfect way to celebrate a month of hard work, team bonding, and making memories together.

Now it’s time for Dead Week—no basketball, no workouts, just a chance to recharge, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy summer.

Have a safe, fun, and relaxing week! We look forward to getting back to work in July as we continue building toward another great season.

8 hours in the car, 12 hours at Cedar Point, and 6 games of Bronco Basketball. We finished the Cedar Point Shootout with a hard-fought 5-1 record while building friendships, making memories, and growing together as a team.

Next stop: the Upper Peninsula for more competition, more team bonding, and another opportunity to keep getting better.

Cedar Point Trip ☑️

After two days of roller coasters, team bonding, and making memories, the Coopersville Girls Basketball program got back on the court tonight at Cedar Point Sports Center.

The Broncos went 1-1 on the day, highlighted by an exciting overtime victory. Hadleigh Byrd knocked down two clutch free throws to secure the win in OT.

A great start to the competition portion of the trip. We have four more games on the schedule tomorrow and are excited for another day of competing together.

A special thank you to the coaches from the Grand Rapids Community College Women’s Basketball program for taking the time to visit our camp today!
We truly appreciate you coming to Coopersville and spending part of your day with our players and coaches. It was a great opportunity for our athletes to hear from coaches at the collegiate level and gain insight into what it takes to continue playing and competing beyond high school.
Thank you for investing in our program, sharing your knowledge of the game, and helping inspire the next generation of players.
