Y’all, it’s been a hot minute and good grief, I still miss all of you !!! You may or may not know, between the injuries here and there, the family and I moved to Virginia (hated it !!!) and then back to Tennessee … East TN though, not my beloved Cookeville. So pretty much after 2021, zero fitness for me.
But back to that left knee … it never learned how to act right so earlier in the spring, I had a knee replacement that quite literally made me question every life choice I’d ever made !!!!
All this to say, I finally decided I might be ready to give dance fitness a try again this week at five months post op. Found a sweet little instructor here at the local community center and attended two classes so far.
And I think I’m back in business!!!
But mainly I want y’all to know how absolutely special our classes were to me back in the day. I don’t know if anything will ever compare to what we all had at Leisure Services and AbFit. At the time I just thought we had fun classes, but now I realize that lightning probably won’t ever strike like that again. It was perfection … and I just wanted to say hi and tell you all how much you meant and how grateful I still am for that few years of group fitness magic.
