It was fun to hang out at HOTWORX - Stanwood, WA today for their 1 year anniversary. A bunch of kids and a few adults got to see what it was like to sit in a sprint car for the first time. People are always amazed when they realize how small these cars are and how crude they are in this day and age. We also got to hang out and have some great conversations with Carla Stewart from Skagit Speedway. Thanks for the photos Carla!

It was great to be involved today with the racing community! We met some pretty neat people from tracks all over the PNW and even learned a thing or two about safely getting injured drivers out of their cars. Thanks Skagit Speedway for letting us join the action today. BYW this is the first glimpse at what the 36 is going to look like this year

Today we’re hanging out at Rainbow International of Skagit County using their ultrasonic tank to deep clean a couple of injections, some valve covers and an oil pan before they get assembled on a couple of new engines for the 2025 racing season.

Happy birthday to the guy who started it all! Your passion for checking things off the bucket list and your drive to embrace grassroots motorsports with SPPRacing is truly inspiring. You’ve shown us that a group of diverse folks can come together and create something amazing with just a bunch of used parts, and carftiness. While we might not be on the podium yet, we’re definitely gaining momentum! Keeping the cars running and finishing races is a big win in our book, and heck last year we had some pretty decent finishes. We’ve got even bigger plans for this year!

Exciting times ahead! We had a fantastic dinner last night with the whole team (well most of us anyway), discussing updates and our progress as we gear up for the 2025 race season. And of course, no better place to celebrate than our favorite spot, Tepic in Burlington! Can't wait to hit the track!
