Reaves Ferry landing has a hard surface launch area with 20 parking spaces and is managed by South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. It has a dock to tie up to. It also has a soft area to launch the kayaks at.

The landing is about 77 miles from the dam according to the Waccamaw River Blue Trail.

The address is 5880 Old Reaves Ferry Rd, Conway, SC 29526. Here is a Google map link for the landing. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Reaves+Ferry+Landing/@33.8505766,-78.908287,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x890071b881f74a09:0x41847864a3821a1c!8m2!3d33.8505592!4d-78.8979873!16s%2Fg%2F11c190_z47?entry=ttu

If you display the image of the trail on a laptop screen and then scan the QR Code on the map with a smart phone and you have at least the free version of the AllTrails App is on the phone, the AllTrails map will be displayed on the phone and you will be able to navigate the trail using the app.
If you do not have the app on the smart phone, it will bring the map up via the AllTrails website.

When using the QR Code on this trail it actual will bring up a trail that goes from Reaves Ferry all the way to Bucksport Marina. But you can still use this trail for tracking from Reaves Ferry to Lee's Landing.

This trail goes from Reeves Ferry Landing to Lees Landing. It is approximately 8 miles and takes about 2 hours, if you do not go up Tilly Swamp. The trail that is shown went up Tilly Swamp and explored a little while other paddlers were resting.

Going up Tilly Swamp is a lot of fun. If you do go up, I suggest you use some kind of navigation system. The swamp is not so big that you can get totally lost, but is not hard to make miss a left or a right and take a little longer to get out.

We enjoy paddling to what we call the ladder tree, which is by Peachtree Landing. But now we will come see the Barrel Trees when we go up Tilly Swamp.

The beach image is where the group rested.

Another map has been added that the trail goes from Reaves Ferry Landing to Billy Witherspoon and is 21.4 miles long.

This trail goes downriver from Reaves Ferry for only about 4 miles, but goes into 2 swamps for a wonderful exploratory paddle, when the water is at its average height. This paddle was done when the water was low and still got to explore the swamp a good distance. You will be able to go deeper into the swamp when the water is higher.

The last image of a map is actually showing the trail from Reaves Ferry to Lee's Landing. I added this map because we paddled further up Tilly Swamp when the water was above average.

You definitely will know you are on the Waccamaw's Blue Trail, because you will see plenty of the blue markers on the trees.

There was a couple of Gator sighting and lots of Blue Herring in the area. Along with other wildlife.

This paddle will be repeated when the water gets higher.
