Find the water and you’ll usually find the hogs.

Water sources can tell you a lot about where they’re traveling and where to concentrate your efforts. Put the food close to where they already want to be, and you can stack the odds in your favor.

Imagine heading to work one morning and running across this. 😳🐗

A customer sent us this crazy footage after coming across these two boars going at it right in the middle of a public road. He stopped, got out and filmed it, and apparently this went on for quite a while.

Not sure if one was already injured when it started or if it happened during all this, but that’s one heck of a way to start your morning. 😂

So what are you doing if you come around the corner and see this? 😂

Everything came together on this Texas Hill Country 8-point! 🦌🏹

We waited for him to give us the perfect opportunity, and when he finally stepped into position, it was time. Great moment, great placement, and one of those bowhunting encounters you never forget.

Three hogs. 20 yards. One completely UNCUT sequence. 😳🏹

We were just trying to get an opportunity at the first one while it was rubbing on the Pig Oil… but when the others didn’t leave, things got wild FAST.

After the first one I told my buddy, “Get the next one!” Then somehow the THIRD one stayed too. 😂

Still can’t believe they gave us three opportunities in a row. Definitely one of those hunts you don’t forget!

Slow it WAY down… 👀🏹

At full speed, you’d never catch all of this. Watch the fletching spinning in flight — then watch her reaction the instant she hears the bow.

Their reaction time is incredible when you see it frame by frame. This is exactly why slow motion footage is so fascinating.

Watch it twice and pay attention to the details. 👀

Some bucks are just different. 🦌

We hunted this Texas Hill Country 14-point for two years, and somehow he always seemed to know when we were there. This is low-fence Texas Hill Country with a county road running right through the middle of the ranch—and plenty of hunting pressure from every direction. Several neighboring hunters were getting trail-camera pictures of this same buck too.

We changed setups, changed approaches and tried just about everything we could think of. Somehow he kept staying one step ahead of us.

After two years, it finally all came together.

One of those bucks that really gets under your skin—and a hunt I’ll never forget.

Young hunter, big moment. 🏹🦌

He’d put in plenty of practice, and when this buck gave him the opportunity, he stayed calm, held his composure and made it count. Pretty impressive for a young bowhunter!

Early archery season in the Texas Hill Country. 🦌

A heavy-horned, mature low-fence buck finally gave us the opportunity we’d been waiting for. That lighted nock tells the story before you even have to ask. 👀🏹

There’s just something about chasing mature Hill Country bucks with a bow.
