This Saturday the Connell High School XC team will host the Connell XC Invite on the Dan Colby XC Course. Races start at 10:45 and go through approximately 3:00 pm. We can always use more fans and volunteers. If you are interested in helping out, please DM me and we will find a spot for you to help.

Lots of positives from today's SCAC League meet at Horn Rapids. Boys and girls teams finished second. Huge day for many of the boys, 7 PRs, and 2 new PRs for the girls. Everyone who missed a Part was within 30 seconds or so of setting one. Hard work pays off.

A great day of racing yesterday at Wenatchee. 9 of the 11 high schoolers ran PRs. The other two are veterans who had their best time this year but just missed a PR. OJH also ran strong with most of the athletes getting PRs including three Top 10 finishers.

Another big invite this weekend at Wenatchee. The bus loads in Connell at 5:15 and leaves CHS at 5:25 am. The bus will load in Basin City at the elementary school at 5:45 and leave at 5:55 am. This meet is for OJH and CHS athletes.

Due to the excessive heat, today's practice is optional. Please check in with Coach Langdon or Coach Stoker before heading home.

Our first meet of the season will be this Saturday, September 7, in Ellensburg. The bus leaves CHS at 6:00 am and leaves BCE at 6:30 am. We will stop for something to eat after the meet before heading home.

The first week of practice is almost in the books. Both the boys and girls teams are working hard with clear goals in mind. It is great to see. Thanks for the help from my two new assistants, Chrissy Langdon and Dallin Benson.
