This week is the week! We are officially hitting the road and heading to Vegas for the Road Course World Finals! A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, and supported Jacob and this trip! We are looking forward to some good times and great racing!

Well this is a huge bummer. We are already short on places locally for Bandolero and Legend car racing, and this one is one of our favorites. The owners have been awesome every time we have been there, and the track is one of Jacobs favorites as well. As a Bandolero family this stinks because they always included bando's. Hopefully something changes, and racing can resume there, but this is another blow to our already dwindling options for race tracks in the Carolinas. Let's just hope the voters in Nashville reject the bill to close the Fairgrounds, because that is another that is in limbo right now.

It comes with great sorrow to announce that Florence Motor Speedway will not be putting out a schedule for the upcoming 2027 season, and furthermore, there are no current plans for racing on the 4/10 mile oval in 2027.

Since taking over the reigns in 2020, we have tried everything in our power to keep soldiering on, but each season has been increasingly difficult. While there have been a plethora of struggles that we have encountered, we made it a mission to explore multiple options on how to face the adversity and somehow come out ahead. Unfortunately, we have now reached the point to where we feel we have exhausted all possible options and it no longer seems feasible to continue. This is a humbling sport as we all know and has been our only focus in life for so long. We must look ahead to days where we can hope to maintain some kind of normalcy with the everyday struggles that life manages to throw at one.

We wish nothing but the best to all surrounding race tracks and touring series in the region for 2027 and the years to come. We now will solely shift our immediate focus to ending 2026 at FMS on a high note with our last three remaining events … the 2X Monster Trucks, the South Carolina 250, and the 34th Annual South Carolina 400.

If you, or someone you know are heading to Charlotte Motor Speedway tomorrow for the STEAM at Charlotte Motor Speedway, The NASCAR Youth series Quarter Midget races or even the Craftsman Truck race, we will be inside ZMAX Dragstrip with Race Driven Performance drivers Jacob Hassey Racing and Ayden Young Racing! We will be in lane 4 under the blue Race Driven Performance tent! Stop by and meet the drivers, and get a signed hero card. We will be there from 9am until 1pm.
