So this happened this week. When you photographed this little guys sister as a newborn and mom and dad ask you reeeally nicely to do the same for him how can you say no?! He is such a beautiful little boy isn't he? I'm so happy I made an exception! 😀

There is something very special about a little girl and her daddy. And, while most daddy's aren't thinking too far into the future other than looking forward to someday getting a full night's sleep. One day, though, he will look back on these images and remember the snuggles, and her soft skin, and the way she smelled all over again!

Things that make you go "ahh".

This is a message I got from a woman who I did a recent breastfeeding session with... "This image gives me a sense of calm as I know we are communicating and developing an innate level of trust. In this moment we are each other's whole world"

WOW! This is how she feels NOW. Think about how she is going to feel Years from now when she looks back on this beautiful image as it is still hanging on her wall and this feeling comes back to her?
I love that I was able to create that special memory for her!

I'm honored to have met all these beautiful Mamas for this once in a lifetime session! I can honestly say it was FAR more rewarding than I ever thought possible. I am truly happy that I was able to create this for them to have to remember this time in their lives forever and the fun we had that night we all met.

On the evening of September 17th I had the opportunity to photograph a group of 18 breastfeeding woman in a very special group portrait session. What transpired was nothing short of Magical. These beautiful women nursed their children all at the same time in a beautiful outdoor location. My hope was to create an image that meant something to them, that gave them a lasting memory of this special time in their lives and the lives of their babies. We all got so much more than that. The thank you notes and messages I received following that night was overwhelming. These woman noted that they felt completely comfortable, there was no "body shaming", there was no one telling them that what they were doing was "wrong". It was a group of woman, giving their babies nourishment and support and love surrounded by other woman doing the same thing for their babies and all feeling "empowered" on so many levels. I am thrilled that I was the one that was able to create this amazing portrait for them all as a lasting memory!
