❤️Thank you for being a first responder in supporting my page. I appreciate you being here❤️

⭐️Let’s talk about habits. They are all the rage. If you have not yet read, Atomic Habits by James Clear, it’s a game changer & on my list of must reads.

🌻But I think if we can prioritize a “happy habit”, starting with setting aside only 5 minutes a day to do something we enjoy (and setting an alarm to actually hold ourselves accountable to do the thing), then the process of compounding other habits will be more seamless, because we will be moving with joy in our hearts, which will give us momentum.

😊What will your first “happy habit” be?

❤️I would love for you to share your answer here & for this page to be a living conversation, as we build a community of forward movement together.

So many of you have asked, what is MoGa?

Although MoGa will continue to evolve as we grow together, MoGa is not a workout.

MoGa is a work-in. Participants are invited to assess the way in which they would like to move in their lives, both physically and metaphorically.

Although some MoGa moves may have a foundation in yoga, MoGa is not a yoga class. Movements range from gentle stretching, to core work, to Insanity style & sports training moves, and then back down to focusing on our breath.

I’m certified in Children’s Yoga & Insanity (literally and figuratively) which adds an element of the unexpected.

MoGa is not about weight loss, but about what we can collectively GAIN, together, by connecting, in person, in the room where it happens.

MoGa involves childlike and imaginative play with whimsical ribbons and colorful breathing spheres.

Participants are invited to move out of their comfort zones and engage in partner poses.

MoGa is moving joyfully and modifying accordingly.

MoGa is differentiated fitness.

During MoGa sessions, we engage in anxiety reducing activities such as EFT tapping and nasal breathing to reduce anxiety.

And MoGa always involves a mindfully chosen song or two from yours truly.

MoGa means prioritizing self-care to live fully as your authentic unapologetic self.

I hope you’ll join us next time.

⭐️Namaste.

❤️Mo

⭐️While I’m still a high school special education teacher, I feel deeply compelled to share my passion for yoga and mindful movement with the world.

⭐️Teaching children about the healing power of movement, how to connect with their breath for stress reduction, how to look within to find inner calm and joyful peace, how to rewire their brains by creating their own dopamine and changing their trajectory, even at a young age, the children can not only internalize these things, they CRAVE them.

⭐️There is a reason my 10th grade high school students beg me to start the class with a few minutes of MoGa (ok, they don’t have to twist my arm), because I know that it’s an exchange of energy, they know it too. My students share that after a few minutes of stretching and breathing intentionally, they are more alert, better able to access the learning and (drumroll please) they are HAPPIER.

⭐️I’ve been teaching children’s yoga for the past 7 years; but finally challenged myself to expand my knowledge with getting certified through
Thank you .a.vaughan for your compassionate teaching style & for being a model for change.

⭐️They created such a beautiful training, that I looked forward to connecting with each evening. My skills set has expanded & I look forward to spreading the love.

⭐️Take a moment to breathe today.

⭐️Find a tender moment to be grateful.
