First success story of the year.

The Wedgewood CC Member- Guest Invitational was held over the past 3 days in Powell,Ohio.
The 2012 event featured some of the finest young gun players in Central Ohio in a field of 72 two-man teams.
To the amazement of the staff and fellow participants at Wedgewood, the Mike Wallace team prevailed and topped them all.
The 2012 Champions, Mike Wallace and Bruce Ruhl were interviewed after the grueling shoot out. "Playing the various formats presented a bit of a challenge", said Mike Wallace. "When we played alternate shot we were faced with the dilemma of which ball to put into play, the Tittleist Pro V1x or the new Callaway Hex Tour Black." He continued. "After watching my partner Bruce Ruhl drive and putt the Hex in a practice round the day before, I was convinced that he had superior equipment. In all the years I never have seem him play so consistent. I tried the ball and loved it. I kept asking for the Hex every time we had a putt."
Mike also noticed that Bruce had to throttle down the drive on a few holes because he was so long, surprisingly for for a 57 bionic-kneed ex football player jock. "As an added bonus he just received his new Callaway Razr Fit 3 FW, featuring a Diamana stiff shaft. He used the 3W to perfection. Confidently hitting the fairway short hairs every time."
Like Els, Ruhl thanked Callaway for there support this year. Just when he thought they were giving up on him, Ruhl turned it on with new Callaway equipment and is having a stellar season, surpassing his golf experience expectations. A special shout-out went to Bill Wise from Bruce for Bill's backing. If it wasn't for Bill and his support team Jason Rutkoski at the Callaway training Center, this dream season would not be possible."
To maintain Ruhl's amateur status, he plans to donate part of his earnings to a worthwhile cause.
