Hello Parents of UCISL players.

This notification is for parents and players who are currently participating and plan to continue participating in the recreational soccer program. BIG changes are coming for the Fall 2026 season and beyond for the recreational program. There is a lot of information, please see below:

On June 10, 2025, US Club Soccer sent out a mass communication regarding age division changes. (The original press release can be read here: US Club Age Change ) The article says the age group formation is currently based on a Jan. 1-Dec. 31 timeframe (“birth year”). We are now implementing a change to the age group formation to become a Aug. 1-July 31st timeframe to be effective during the 2026-27 season and beyond. If you are questioning the change, please read the article and reach out to US Club Soccer if you have feedback.

What you need to know:
-Players may NOT PLAY DOWN.
-Players may PLAY UP if it is to play with their grade level.
-Team placement will change therefore NO TEAM is guaranteed. There are no coach, team or friend requests. Teams are going to look different, parents need to know players will be moved around.

-U3 to U5 are not in the chart:
-U3 - Born between Aug 1, 2023 – July 31, 2024
-U4 - Born between Aug 1, 2022 – July 31, 2023
-U5 - Born between Aug 1, 2021 – July 31, 2022

In March of this year, we re-launched our website with our new website provider, Sprocket. This will be the last communication using Sports Connect. Our website address has NOT changed. But it will now look different when you log onto it. ALL PARENTS NEED TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT with Sprocket. Instructions in the hyperlink ( Create an Account ). Once you've created an account, you will need to add your player(s). Instructions in the hyperlink ( How to add a player ). Finally, you will need to download the Sprocket App to your smartphone.

Do not download the app first and try to create an account through it. You must log onto the website to create an account THEN log into your account in the Sprocket app with your email and password. The app will now be how you will communicate with your coaches, receive communication from your coaches, view your player's schedule on the team calendar and other functions. Please use the help center on the Sprocket website if you have questions about set up: https://help.sprocketsports.com/en/

Registration for the Fall 2026 Recreational Soccer Season will open on JUNE 1, 2026. You can find out more information about the Fall 2026 season on June 1st under the "Partner Programs" tab. Or check out attached flyer. Also under the "Tryouts & Clinics" tab, you can click on the "Summer Camps" tab and register for the upcoming summer camps. They are open to ALL PLAYERS.

Finally, Sprocket is a new website provider therefore, NO DATA from this website provider can be carried over. This means EVERYONE is starting from scratch and creating a new account. For future registrations, there will be no "previous teams" during drafting. Teams will be different, players may not be on the same team from prior seasons. Players may not have the same coach. This will be due to the new age group changes and Sprocket. There are no team, coach or player requests.

Registration for Fall 2026 season opens June 1, 2026. Registration for Spring 2027 season opens January 1, 2027. Please take a few minutes to check out our website at www.elitefcssl.com to see all the new and exciting changes. Have a great summer.

2026 Fall Season Recreational Registration is OPEN!
Union Co Elite FC offers recreational soccer for those kids who have never played soccer or just want to play soccer for fun without an emphasis on competition. Players can start in the U3 division (born between Aug 1, 2023 – July 31, 2024), and we offer recreational teams up to U19 (Born between Aug 1, 2007 – July 31, 2008).

Fall practices will start week of August 17, 2026. Games will start September 5, 2026, and finish on October 17, 2026. Parent coached, small-sided, single-gender teams are a hallmark of our program. We promote technical, tactical and character development for kids of all skill levels in a fun, family environment.

Our registration fee continues to be affordable and is based on age, level of play and includes membership in Ohio South, Accident Insurance, a uniform shirt, training for coaches and referees…and much, MUCH more!

Payments will be made at the time of registration online. Registration begins on June 1, 2026.

$65.00 for U3, U4 and U5 Divisions
$75.00 for U6, U7, U8 and U9/10 Divisions
$80.00 for U11/12 Division
$105.00 for MSSA (plus $45 for uniform) MSSA are players in the U13, U14 & U15 Divisions
$85.00 for HSSA (plus $45 for uniform) HSSA are players in the U16, U17, U18 & U19 Divisions

LATE FEE OF $10.00 WILL BE APPLIED ON JULY 15, 2026.

REGISTRATION ENDS ON JULY 31, 2026. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT DATE.

Our U12/11 Boys and Girls dominated the end of the season round robin tournament in Delaware over the weekend. Coach Piper and the black team AND the girls Marysville Mayhem team both winning!! Congrats!!

One of our mom’s said it best about our MSSA Lady Wolves’s:

“Our MSSA girls are SEEDED number 1 going into tournaments this weekend coming up!! They played all season without subs but 1 game I think!! 🥰

We are so proud of them. I think this is plausible because what I have noticed over the years playing since they were so little that so many kids fall off as we start getting into the older ages these girls have stage strong with their teams and the game.This So exciting!

Please read FAQ's before contacting UCISL:
Your child can participate THIS season if their birth year is between the years 2023 to 2007
Children are place on teams by their birth year and gender (MSSA and HSSA do HAVE co-ed teams)
Children must wear shin guards
Children can wear soccer cleats (no baseball or football) or tennis shoes
Teams are coached by parent volunteers
We do NOT take coach requests, friend requests or parent requests
We do NOT know the day and time of practice until the teams have been formed and the coach has given us the information (beginning to mid-March)

2026 Spring Season Recreational Soccer Season Season Information

Union Co Elite FC offers recreational soccer for those kids who have never played soccer or just want to play soccer for fun without an emphasis on competition. Players can start who have a birth year 2023, and we offer recreational teams up to birth year 2006. Spring practices will start week of March 23, 2026. Games will start April 11, 2026, and finish on May 16, 2026. Parent coached, small-sided, single-gender teams are a hallmark of our program. We promote technical, tactical and character development for kids of all skill levels in a fun, family environment. Our registration fee continues to be affordable and is based on age, level of play and includes membership in Ohio South, Accident Insurance, a uniform
shirt, training for coaches and referees…and much, MUCH more!

UCISL Programs
• Teams are formed based on birth year and gender.
• Teams are sorted based on experience, coach evaluations, and birth year. We do not take
requests to be on a certain team or to be with a certain coach or player.
• All teams are coached by parent volunteers. Coaches will be allowed to schedule practices on a day that works best for them and most of the team. No experience is necessary to volunteer to coach. We offer training from Elite FC professional coaching staff.
• Practices are once a week generally Mon-Fri starting 5:30 or after at UCJRD
• Ages 2-10 games are on Saturday mornings into early afternoon at UCJRD. Ages 11-12 home games are at UCJRD and away games are in Delaware and Plain City on Saturday mornings and afternoons.
• Children are required to wear shin guards (under their socks) and tennis shoes or soccer specific cleats for practices and games.Players will be provided with matching shirts for game days. Shorts and socks can be any color. No jewelry is permitted during practices or games. This includes small earrings.

MSSA & HSSA Program
• Home games and practices are in Marysville. Away games are in the Central Ohio area. Games are scheduled by MSSA/HSSA and vary during days of the week and weekends.
• Teams are formed based on number of participants and coaches. Limited spots are available. Teams are coached by parent volunteers and practice two to three times a week.
