Girls with Gears Women's Cycling Team A cycling group serving as a gateway into the sport for women leaders of business, non-profits and households.

Girls with Gears' focus is to increase advocacy and raise funds for cancer research. It is a year-round organization that supports one another in the pursuit of our own individual cycling and fitness goals, facilitates cycling education and safety, and provides social and educational opportunities during the off-season. During our inaugural season in 2010, Girls with Gears was 18 strong and raised

$36,829 for cancer research through Pelotonia. Girls with Gears has grown substantially over the years and reached 63 peloton members in the 2021 event. Today, Girls with Gears has exceeded $1.3 million total raised for cancer research. It was through our collective efforts that this was made possible. Each member of the team pushed hard to meet their own individual fundraising goals in support of life saving cancer research.

Due to the extreme heat, we've made the decision to cancel this week's training ride and reschedule our happy hour with Team COPC.

We know this is disappointing, but the safety and well-being of our riders always comes first. Thank you for understanding, and we'll share the new happy hour date soon.
