When people ask what I do and I answer “personal + professional development,” I’m not quite sure (even if I elaborate) that I explain it well. ☺️ Soooo....here’s an example.

A few days ago, I hosted the Women in Business Speed Networking Event. In the photos below, you can see that I bring women in business together in a relaxed, fun, but organized environment. The result is that we learn from each other, make connections, and expand our support networks. (Hence the name of my membership group Learn. Connect. Support. Membership Group.)

One of my favorite things at these events is listening to the buzz when the networking rounds begin and seeing the engagement and connecting. Even better is receiving the feedback that a conversation or a connection impacted one of the lady’s lives. 🥰

Learn. Connect. Support. is the professional development group for women in business. BUT…

it’s also about personal development. This month, we discussed Mel Robbin’s book, The Let Them Theory. Great conversation and, as always, a fun time connecting with the LCS members and guests. 🥰 I ❤️❤️❤️ leading this group!!

Just the next episode of “get out of my comfort zone.” 🤪

Last night, I got to raise money for the Westerville Symphony in the Stars & Stripes Showdown, which required me to get on stage, chat with the conductor, and get a little conducting lesson. 😊

While I honestly worried about this for the past several weeks, it turned out to be a fun experience. Thank you, Axl Pons, for asking. Glad to help, and I love my parting gifts. 🤗

You think you can’t (or don’t want to) add another thing to your calendar, but it typically ends up being just the thing you needed. 😊
(And guess what…the things you’re stressing about always work out in the end if you can add some laughter and friends.)

Take the time to socialize, to reflect, to connect, to talk about goals and what you’re excited about. 🤩
