Established in 1971, Habeeba's Belly Dancing Studio was the first-ever belly dance school in the American Midwest. Today, it is the longest continuously-operating belly dance school in the country. We teach an exclusive technique developed by one of the country’s master instructors – Habeeba, whose sophisticated and authentic style stresses graceful form in movement. Since founding the school, she

has taught the dance to thousands of women from ages 13 through 72 and counting. She is recognized internationally as a leader in the development of the art form. Some of Habeeba’s students become professional dancers, while most study dance for exercise and fun. Throughout the year, Habeeba hosts guest instructors from all over the world who come to Ohio to teach belly dance seminars and workshops. In addition to these special events, instructors at our studio regularly teach classes devoted to specific routines from Habeeba’s own choreography.

Due to the dangerous temperatures predicted for tomorrow, Wednesday, June 15th, we are canceling both classes. Your tuition period will be extended by one week. It is most important to us that everyone remain safe and healthy, so we'll see you next week!

Habeeba's Belly Dance Studio has moved. We have relocated to 620 Taylor Station Rd, Suite Q, Gahanna, OH 43230.

Come enjoy our Open House next week from 6-8pm! If you're a return student, come and shimmy with us! And if you're new to Habeeba's and just curious, come and meet our wonderful dancers!

We are thrilled and eager to see your smiling faces soon! 🥰

After tonight, Habeeba's will be taking a couple weeks off while we transition to space better suited to our needs. Watch carefully for our next exciting announcement!
In the meantime, don't forget Habeebas at Home, our special limited edition opportunity for online classes. Special discount for current students.
We are also finalizing some future events and are very excited to be performing in public again this year.
It's going to be hard to be away from each other even for a couple weeks, but this is short and we're all full of shimmy!
