Update on the Bayshore

BREAKING: Saucy Brew Works, who has been in aggressive growth mode for a while, and recently abandoned plans for a massive Fat Head’s like production facility and beer hall in Independence, looks to be continuing its growth aspirations in other avenues. Already with smaller taprooms in Pinecrest, Sandusky, Columbus, and Detroit, as well as recently purchasing a major stake in Cincinnati’s Cartridge Brewing, has now filed an A1C brew on premise permit under the Saucy Brew Works Bayshore LLC company name for a location on Put-in-Bay Ohio. It appears they’ve got designs on the island summer party capital of Northern Ohio, with an application for 328 Toledo Avenue. A google search shows this location to be the site of the Bayshore Hotel, a three story lakeside resort with two swimming pools and a 30 person hot tub. The location was shown to he for sale on Loopnet.com, a commercial real estate site, but it says now the listing is “no longer advertised on Loopnet”. they are opening a taproom here, or getting into the airBNB / hospitality business, or both. Either way, it’s getting Juicy, ASAP (see what we did there?) up in here. We’ll be reaching out for comment and seeing if we can get more details. Stay tuned.

Just wanted to give a Put-in-Bay update. The officalial state of Ohio Coronavirus website link I follow hasn't been updated since 6/5. I called the hotline and they said they don't know anything. So basically, we are still not allowed to host the largest adult soccer tournament held on an island in the lower 48. I am hoping for an update by July 3rd, if not we are going to have to cancel.
