We’re excited to share that all players should be receiving a call from Coach Nick by the end of the week!

Coach Nick is looking forward to connecting with each family, introducing himself, and answering any questions you may have as we prepare for the upcoming season. Registration for this age group is still open as well so please share!

🚨🚨1/2nd grade announcement🚨🚨

Good morning Hilliard Elite families,

We wanted to provide an update regarding our 1st/2nd grade team for the 2026 season.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Coach Haywood is unable to dedicate his time this season. We want to thank Coach Haywood for everything he has done for the program, wish him the very best, and hope to have him back with our 1st/2nd grade team next season.

With that being said, we are excited to announce that Nick Koshiol will be stepping into the Head Coach role for the 1st/2nd grade age group for the 2026 season. After many conversations with Coach Nick, we truly believe he will be a great fit for the Hilliard Elite family and bring tremendous energy, experience, and leadership to the program.

We are still hoping to add 5–6 more players to the roster, and we have no doubt we will get there. Please continue sharing the program with any families who may be interested. We will be in contact by the end of May.

“My name is Nick Koshiol. I played football at Mentor High School and played in two state championship games, including one against Hilliard Davidson. I then played linebacker at Notre Dame College in South Euclid.

For the past six years, I have coached football camps and 1-on-1 training sessions at Bo Jackson’s. I was also the 1st and 2nd grade coach for Optimist Football last season, where our team made it to the championship game.

I’m excited for the opportunity to work with these athletes and be part of the Hilliard Elite family.”

Tomorrow (4/15) kicks off Day 1 of player evaluations!

All registered athletes should have received an email with important instructions. If you did not receive it, please reach out and we will get that information over to you right away.

While we do not make cuts, we strongly recommend all athletes attend at least one of the two evaluation nights.

📣 1st/2nd Grade Update:
1st and 2nd graders are NOT required to attend evaluations. We will be hosting a separate Meet the Team night for this group in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for details!

For those who completed registration prior to today, you will be receiving communication within the next week with details on next steps. We’re excited to get started!

We are less than a week out from the start of player evaluations!

Everyone who registered prior to this morning should have received an email (sent to the address used during registration) with details on evaluation dates, times, and location. If you did not receive it, please reach out directly so we can get you the information.

Our 1st and 2nd grade group is still open! This age group will meet on a separate day/week and will NOT need to attend player evaluations next week.

🚨🚨Cheer Announcement🚨🚨

Hilliard Elite is thrilled to welcome our new cheer coach, Tina Brown!

Tina brings over 15 years of experience as both a cheerleader and a coach, and we’re excited for the energy and expertise she will bring to our program.

Fees: $250 per Cheerleader, includes cheer uniform, accessories, and Dance Camp!

Message from Coach Tina:

“Hilliard Elite Cheerleading is more than recreational cheer, it’s an elite program for athletes ready to challenge themselves, grow their skills, and be part of a team that strives for excellence. Success requires focus, commitment, and consistency.

Attendance is mandatory for all cheerleaders. Every practice is essential for skill development, team chemistry, and overall squad success. This includes our mandatory four-day summer dance camp. We expect all athletes to be present, on time, and fully prepared for every session.

During the summer, practices will be held 2–3 times per week, depending on the team’s progress and skill development. Once school begins, practices will be every Wednesday from 4:30–6:00 PM. Athletes should come ready to learn, improve, and support their teammates.

This program is about accountability, teamwork, and personal growth. We’re looking for athletes who are ready to commit, work hard, and be part of something special.”
