With Thanksgiving just in the rear view mirror and Christmas fast approaching, hopefully we all can reflect on what we are thankful for and look forward to being with those who bring joy this holiday season. The Paddock Stables in Pataskala, Ohio houses horses that participate in the IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Association. The riders at the barn in Pataskala are so very thankful for Nancy Arledge (owner/coach) and her love to teach. Everyone is thankful for all the horses, the bonds they help create, all the rides they provide every day and the countless shows they guide our riders safely through all year long.
This holiday season the team at The Paddock Stables wants to give back to the barn and horses by holding an Adopt-A-Horse campaign to help raise funds to care for those horses who take care of our riders year round, non routine veterinary care, supplements, sports medicine therapy, feed and all around care for our equine friends is a non-stop financial strain for all barns, not just The Paddock Stables.
To help keep the horses in prime shape during the winter months, we are asking for your support in adopting a horse. Don’t worry, we’ll do all the work! Starting tomorrow through the holidays we will feature each horse you help with fun, usually silly and very real facts each day. You can pick a favorite or choose to offer assistance to any horse. Please donate today to help those animals continue to teach our young riders.

* Here is a little more information about the Interscholastic Equestrian Association: The IEA was established to provide competitive and educational opportunities through equestrian athletics. Good Horsemanship and honorable participation are priorities at every event. It is the responsibility of all attendees to foster a spirit of belongingness, an atmosphere of community enjoyment, and a mutual respect for all participants and their equine partners.
