Not the outcome we wanted but we won our Halloween costume contest for being inmates and all tatted up!
I have seen a lot of softball in my life and some good umpires ans bad umpires but today shows u tournament directors will get umpires from a cracker jack box if they cant find anyone for the love of god if you are gonna have 2 umpires in brackets play but not in the semis is beyond me and then not even come from out behind the plate to on them judgement calls is even worse I am the third base coach and when the girl steps on 3rd base but u see a girl tag back and not even see the tag but call her out or even if a girl slides under the tag and all u do is say out but cant come out to see makes me more pi**ed u there umpire costed us from being in the championship since it was a close game! I normally never complain to umpires or appeal a call unless I feel it is necessary since umpires are hard to come by running my own tournaments. But by all means this was necessary but when I questioned it he sd im only 1 person okay u are but do your damn job and come out from behind the plate! Our girls were on fire with hits and pitching oh and dont even get me started on the strike zone and pitching pretty sad my girls threw everything they had even down the middle but if a girl duck down you called ball but was still in the strike zone! Im proud of my girls this team is definitely got something special this year and cant wait until we are full swing for travel! Hugz coach tabz!
