Great warm up drill with this morning!
•
Starting in butterfly have a shooter shoot one glove side from the high slot. Move the puck to a second shooter in the corner then follow the puck back to the slot for a second shot. Great for warming up eyes, hands, and feet! 👀🥅

Screens in the high slot 👀❌

Here I used my goalie partners to mimic the screen and the shooter quickly steps into the shot lane and fires it. Do one side at a time and focus on smooth efficient lateral releases to stay in control.

Skating Drill focused on engaging the core! 💪🏼
•
The first time I saw a goalie skating with a medicine ball in their hands I thought to myself “how does that help them get better?” The truth is it engages the core and engaging the core help us focus on body control and spatial awareness… All you need is a 5-10 lb medicine ball or weight!
