BUSY WEEK!! The Elks' will kick off its annual HILLTOP MEMBER-GUEST tomorrow, June 11 with practice rounds. Friday, ALL MEMBERS are invited to enjoy a special FAC from 5-7 p.m. and then return Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m., for a short FLAG DAY CEREMONY and ice cream sundaes. Don't miss out!

This week, the Columbus Elks' Lodge #1195 was proud to award Elk scholarships to eight, local high school students. Most Valuable Student scholarships of $1,000 each were awarded to Elk members Maggie Shevlin (CHS) and Jett Borer (Lakeview) and non-Elk students Elle Badstieber (Lakeview) and Joseph Kallhoff (CHS).

Veterans Scholarships of $1,000 were presented to Jacqueline Stoner (Scotus CC) and Jordyn Loseke (Lakeview). Jett Borer was also awarded an $800 MVS State scholarship; and Maggie Shevlin and Lillian Jensen both earned Elk Legacy Awards. (Lillian Jensen not pictured.)

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients! Have a great 2026-2027 school year!
