Our founder, Tami Chapek, just got back from a week of vacation in the most stunning place, Alaska. Here are a few of her thoughts:
I am so grateful for the time to get away, explore the beauty of this wonderful place called Earth, spend time with family and new friends, eat far too much food, and most importantly recharge, reset, and recover from a busy first half of 2026.
A few observations that I'd love your thoughts on:
✅ Everyone needs time away from the stress (and joy) of work - this allows us to be able to be the best versions of themselves possible
✅ It is important to really turn it off when you are away - work will be there when you get back
✅ Taking time to reflect matters - what do you love, what drains you, what do you want your life to really look like
✅ Being with loved ones makes all the difference in the world - a sense of belonging, being cared for, and being able to care for others is truly what matters most
What are your post-holiday observations? Or if you are heading out this August...what do you hope to gain while you're away? And if you're not taking a holiday any time soon, how else can you incorporate self-care into your summer routine?
