Clipper Middle School Football hosted United tonight at the Ward Athletic Complex. The Clippers defeated the Eagles 22-0 in a shortened game due to weather. Chase Day had 3 touchdowns for the Clippers. Harper Fast and Josh Garver each had a 2-point conversion.

🏐 CLIPPER VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS JACKSON-MILTON🏐

Another great night for Columbiana Volleyball as both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams picked up victories over Jackson-Milton.

The varsity team defeated the Blue Jays 25-16, 25-23, 25-15.
The Clippers remain undefeated at 8-0 overall and 5-0 in league play. Leading the Clippers were Addisyn Dangler (10 kills, 2 aces, 10 points, 2 digs), Keagan Pruitt (8 kills, 1 ace, 1 point, 4 digs), Landry Smith (7 kills, 2 aces, 9 points), Eva Waller (2 aces, 10 points, 27 assists, 4 digs) and Ava Marks (5 kills, 2 aces, 4 points, 5 digs).

The JV team defeated Jackson Milton 25-10, 25-17. The JV Clippers improve to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the league. Leading the Clippers were Briley Schmidt (7 aces, 2 assists, 1 dig), Sylvia Rapp (4 kills, 3 aces, 4 digs), Annabelle Church (2 kills, 2 aces, 4 assists, 1 dig), and Sydney Schorejs (3 kills, 2 aces).

The Clippers travel to East Palestine on Tuesday.

The Columbiana Lady Clippers celebrated Senior Night in style with a dominant 170-218 victory over United at Valley Golf Club.

Leading the Clippers:

• Ashlynn Day — 43
• Victoria Buckingham — 46
• Nia Missos — 47

With the win, the Lady Clippers improve to 13-2 on the season.

The Clipper Cross Country teams traveled to Warren to compete in the Suburban League Meet.

The high school boys team took first place led by Eric Hepner (2nd place). Kaitlin Benner led the high school girls finishing in 5th place. The middle school boys team captured 7th place.

🏐 VARSITY VOLLEYBALL WINS A THRILLER OVER UNITED 🏐

What a battle! The Columbiana Clipper Varsity Volleyball Team rallied to defeat United 3-2 in an exciting five-set match 25-22, 25-15, 20-25, 21-25, 15-5. The Clippers improve to 7-0 overall and 5-0 in league play. Leading the Clippers were: Eva Waller (42 assists, 14 digs, 17 points), Addisyn Dangler (17 kills, 4 blocks, 3 digs), Landry Smith (15 kills, 3 blocks, 16 points), Ava Marks (16 kills, 2 aces, 22 digs), Keagan Pruitt (9 kills, 4 aces, 12 points), Kaydynce Hammer (6 kills, 6 digs) and Lily Jackson (13 digs).

The Clipper JV defeated United 2-0 (25-11, 25-21), improving to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in league play. Leaders for the Clippers were Sylvia Rapp (4 kills, 7 digs) Briley Schmidt (1 kill, 6 aces, 3 assists, 12 points), Annabelle Church (4 kills, 2 blocks, 2 aces, 4 points) and Adelaide Garrett (3 assists, 5 digs).

CLIPPER BOYS GOLF — SENIOR NIGHT VICTORY!

It was a special night at Valley Golf Club as the Columbiana Clipper Boys Golf Team celebrated Senior Night in style.

The Clippers defeated Springfield 152-162 to remain undefeated and improve to an impressive 14-0** on the season.

The Clippers faced off against Edison tonight, winning 6 to 0. Taking them to 6-0 on the season!

For the Clippers Rocco Mediate had 4 goals, Geoffrey Malcomson had one, and Jay Harrington also added one.

The Columbiana Middle School 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams both picked up impressive victories over United.

The 7th grade team defeated the Eagles 25-10, 25-21. Leading the Clippers were Layla Rust (4 aces, 3 assists), Avery Eisenbraun (2 kills, 1 dig), Sydney Cunningham (8 aces, 1 kill, 1 block), and Rickayla Kleinknecht (4 aces, 2 blocks). The 7th grade Clippers improve to 7-0.

The 8th grade team defeated United 25-10, 25-9. Leading the Clippers were Annabella Young (3 aces, 4 kills, 3 digs), Maria Lehnerd (3 aces, 2 kills, 10 assists), Sophia Gomoll (2 aces, 2 kills, 4 assists, 1 dig) and Annabelle Booth (8 aces, 3 kills, 1 assist, 3 digs). The 8th grade Clippers improve to 6-1.

Both teams travel to Canfield tomorrow.

CLIPPER CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT THE MENTOR CARDINAL CLASSIC

The Columbiana Cross Country teams traveled to Mentor to compete in the Mentor Cardinal Classic and turned in several strong performances.

High School Boys finished 7th overall, led by Eric Hepner, who placed an impressive 10th individually.

High School Girls also earned a 7th-place team finish. Leading the way and receiving medals were Kaitlin Benner finishing 5th and Sidney Schlueter finishing 16th.

Middle School Boys finished 7th overall, with Derrick Hepner leading the way with an outstanding 4th-place individual finish.

Teams are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Warren to compete in the Suburban League Meet.
