Sign up via the link below for the 1st Annual Clipper Summit for Columbiana Athletes who will be entering grades 8–12 in the fall. Clipper coaches are welcome to attend. The summit will take place July 29th, 30th and 31st at Columbiana High School. Don’t miss this FREE opportunity to train, compete, and connect with fellow Clippers!
Clipper alumni who continued their athletic careers at the collegiate level will be at the event. Congratulations Avery!

After having one of the best statistical seasons Columbiana High School baseball has ever seen, Avery Young has been named as a 1st-Team All-State shortstop by the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association (the Associated Press of high school baseball) ⚾️

This is the first time that the OHSBCA has recognized a Columbiana baseball player since Chase Franken in 2019, and it is the first time since Kyle Shaffer in 2011 (15 years!) that a Clipper has been named FIRST-team 😳

Huge congratulations to Avery on this incredible achievement! 🛩️

Clipper track finished their 2026 season tonight in Austintown Fitch at the OHSAA Regional Track Meet. Haley Fry and Sidney Schlueter competed tonight for the Clippers. Fry finished 15th in the long jump and Schlueter finished 14th in the 1600. Great season Clippers!

Clipper track athletes competed tonight in the OHSAA Regional Track Meet at Austintown Fitch.

Competing tonight were the following athletes:
Camille Jeffries - 100 (15th) / 300 Hurdles (12th)
Sidney Schlueter - 4x800 (11th) - 3200 (13th)
Eric Hepner - 4x800 (14th) / 3200 (10th)
Sydney Spaite - 4x800 (11th)
Maddie Jackson - 4x800 (11th)
Kaitlin Benner - 4x800 (11th)
Jace Zelonish - 4x800 (14th)
Peyton Boggs - 4x800 (14th)
Nolan Clark - 4x800 (14th)

Sidney Schlueter will compete in the 1600 and Hayley Fry will compete in the long jump at the Regional Track Meet at Austintown Fitch on Friday.

The Clipper varsity baseball team wrapped up their 2026 season tonight. The Clippers lost to Rootstown in the OHSAA Tournament 4-2 at Firestone Park. Leading the Clippers offensively were Avery Young (2 doubles, stolen base), Drennen Bosela (double, single, RBI, stolen base) and Liam McElwain (single).

HS track traveled to Pymatuning Valley tonight to compete in the OHSAA District Track Meet. The following Clipper Track Athletes advanced to Regionals and will compete Wednesday at Austintown Fitch:

Varsity baseball hosted Rootstown tonight in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament. The game was postponed due to weather after 5 innings. The game will pick back up at the point of interruption on Tuesday at 5:00. After 5 innings of baseball, Rootstown is winning 3-1.
