Today was the first tournament of the SC High School Bass Challenge trail, held at Santee-Cooper Lakes.

Congratulations to PAC anglers John Andrew Moss and Jake DeBruhl for 1st place in the junior division, with a bag of 9.6lbs!

And congratulations to Gus Jennings and Noah W**d for placing 9th in the high school division (out of 69 boats) with an 11.61lb bag.

Next up, we head to Lake Murray on November 7!

🎣 BASS CLASS IS COMING TO A SOUTH CAROLINA LAKE NEAR YOU! 🎣

We’re excited to announce the 2026–2027 Bass Class schedule! Bass Class is a fun, hands-on three-hour educational program designed for boys and girls in grades 2–12 who want to learn more about bass fishing, improve their skills, and spend time with others who share their love of fishing.

Presented by Santee Cooper Outdoors, South Carolina High School Bass Challenge, and South Carolina B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Tournament Trail, Bass Class will be traveling across South Carolina this season!

📍 2026–2027 BASS CLASS SCHEDULE
🎣 Oct. 3, 2026 — Santee Cooper Lakes
🎣 Oct. 31, 2026 — Lake Greenwood
🎣 Nov. 7, 2026 — Lake Murray
🎣 Dec. 5, 2026 — Lake Wateree
🎣 Jan. 30, 2027 — Lake Keowee
🎣 March 13, 2027 — Santee Cooper Lakes
🎣 April 24, 2027 — Lake Wateree

⚠️ Space is limited! No more than 20 Youth Anglers will be registered for each Bass Class, so be ready when registration opens.

Whether your young angler is just discovering bass fishing or already spends every chance they get on the water, Bass Class is about learning, growing, building confidence, making friends, and helping develop the next generation of South Carolina anglers.

So proud of these fellas (John Andrew Moss & Ethan Dover) representing our great state of SC in the Bassmaster High School & Junior Series National Championship in Paris, TN on Kentucky Lake! Fishing tomorrow and Saturday against 115 other teams representing 35 states and Canada.

PAC Bass Anglers finished up their 2025-2026 season this past Saturday at Santee Cooper. We are so proud of our four teams and their boat captains who competed in all five season tournaments and the state championship this year. We are also thankful for our sponsors, family and friends that have supported us all year. All of our teams finished well in the season long points race.

Congratulations to John Andrew Moss and Ethan Dover for winning the Santee tournament on Saturday with a 3-fish limit 9.37 lbs and Big Fish Award. These boys also captured🥇the Junior Division Anglers of the Year!

PAC Bass Anglers stepped onto the national youth fishing stage this past weekend at the Bassmaster High School & Junior Series tournaments at Santee Cooper. The tournament field was 400+ middle and high school anglers from all over the country. In the high school division, the Heisig brothers, Branson and Knox, finished 109th. The team of Noah W**d and Gus Jennings finished tied for 123rd.

In the Junior Series, the team of John Andrew Moss and Ethan Dover finished 5th, which qualified them for the Bassmaster Junior National Championship in July on Kentucky Lake. The team of Luke Sheppard and Tillman Jeffcoat finished 19th.

Next stop, we will be back at Santee Cooper on April 25th for our last tournament of the season!
