This weekend came with plenty of highs and lows, but more importantly, we learned a lot about ourselves and saw a ton of promise from this group.

We picked up our first win at 13U, and every boy played a part in making it happen. The boys showed great patience at the plate, drawing 14 walks over the weekend and consistently putting ourselves in position to score runs.

Our weekend top performers were Walker, Austin, Brayden and Battle. These four led the team in hits, stolen bases, runs scored and walks.

Great job, boys. Keep working hard, keep learning and keep building. There is a lot of good baseball ahead for this group.

The weather is cool, it’s Saturday, and that means one thing: fall baseball and gameday for the Fizz.

Come out and support the boys at the ballpark, or follow along on GameChanger if you can’t make it in person.

A big thank you to our tournament sponsor this week, Bridgeway Consulting, for supporting The Fizz and youth baseball in our community. Be sure to check out Bridgeway Consulting to learn more about what they can do for you and your business.

Thanks for helping us make this season possible. Let’s play some baseball.

It’s almost gameday! Who’s ready to watch the Fizz play this weekend? We know these two are. ProLightMods

This week’s Family Dental Health Smile of the Week belongs to Bostyn.

Bostyn continues to be a positive voice for the team, whether he’s out on the field or in the dugout cheering his teammates on while waiting for his turn to hit. His smile is contagious and always a welcome sight at every game and practice.

Thanks to Dr. Pruett and Family Dental Health of Woodhill for all of your continued support of The Fizz!

This past weekend, we put the axebat Warp Wild into play, and man, did it show out!

The pop off this bat is crazy, and the boys absolutely love the new Wild look. We paired the Warp Wild with our new hot pink Axe jerseys, and there’s no question we were the best-looking team on the diamond.

Big thanks to Axe Bat for all the support you continue to show The Fizz. We’re proud to have you in our corner and can’t wait to keep putting the Warp to work this season

The boys played fantastic defense this past weekend, but there was no play better than this one from our Mr. Hustle, Wylie.

With the game on the line and the bases loaded, Wylie covered an incredible amount of ground to make a diving catch and save a big run. That’s the kind of hustle and effort that can change a game.

Great job, Wylie! Keep making plays!
