One day our kids will look back and remember the adults that shaped their sports days.

They'll remember that one coach..... and the one thing they said that changed everything.

And it will either be the thing that finally made them believe in themselves... or the thing that made them question whether they belonged there.

They'll remember you in that car ride home..... and the one thing you said to them after a tough game.

And it will either be the words that added to their disappointment... or the thing that helped them believe that they could bounce back in the next game.

They'll remember the people in the stands..... and the things they said while they were out there playing.

And it will either be the positive support that they could always pick out... or the way added distraction to the game with their constant sideline coaching or yelling at refs.

As adults we have an opportunity to not only impact them now... .. but also impact the things they carry with them when the sport is over.

Let's never forget that.

Our 2026 Fall Columbia Militia 10U roster is set and we’re excited to get back on the field. Every new season is a fresh opportunity to learn, compete and continue building on the foundation these boys have worked so hard to create.

Thank you to our players, families, coaches and sponsors for believing in this program. We appreciate every practice, every road trip, every volunteer and every person who helps make Columbia Militia possible.

We’re incredibly proud of the five players who represented Columbia Militia this weekend at the Perfect Game Tennessee All-State Games!

The Perfect Game Tennessee All-State Games brought together invited players from across the state to compete on newly formed teams throughout a three-day tournament.

Congratulations to our Militia representatives:
⚾ Lawson Estes – Green Machine
⚾ Kai Johnson – Rocky Top
⚾ Slade Haire – Maroon Magic
⚾ River Umstead – Maroon Magic
⚾ Ethan Blancett – Flamingos

Their teams had an outstanding weekend:

🥇 Green Machine – Gold Bracket Champions (Lawson Estes)

🥈 Rocky Top – Gold Bracket Finalists (Kai Johnson)

🥈 Maroon Magic – Silver Bracket Finalists (Slade Haire & River Umstead)

In addition, Slade Haire and River Umstead both finished among the Top 10 Pitchers (out of almost 70) in the 9U Major division.

Congratulations, boys! We are incredibly proud of the way you represented Columbia Militia and competed against some of the best young players Tennessee has to offer. Keep working, the future is bright!

PG Gulf Coast World Series Champions!!!

These boys earned every bit of it. Seven games and only nine players. No bench, no breaks, just heart!

They didn’t start the week the way they hoped. Day one brought a tough loss and plenty of adversity. But that’s the thing about this team, they learn from it. They reset and show up the next game a little tougher, a little smarter and a little more connected than before.

Every game, they learn. From the wins and the losses. From every mistake and every big play… they listen, they adjust, they trust their coaches, they trust each other and they keep getting better.

This week tested them with long days and 100-degree heat. They answered every challenge together and somewhere between the beach, the pool, team dinners, prayers and the ballfield, this Militia family became even stronger.

These boys are becoming more than great baseball players. They’re becoming teammates, leaders and brothers.

What a way to close out an unforgettable 9U season!

🏆 CHAMPIONS. MILITIA STYLE.

12 hours at the ballpark. Plenty of adversity. Zero excuses.

Playing up all day in a 13-team 10U tournament, our 9U Columbia Militia boys didn’t just compete… they answered every challenge and went 4 -0.

Tournament totals:
⚾️ 40 runs scored
⚾️ Only 3 runs allowed
⚾️ 49 batters faced
⚾️ Just 1 walk issued all day

This team plays with grit, discipline and an unselfish mindset. Every player embraced his role, picked each other up and competed from the first pitch to the final out. That’s what Militia Style is all about.

🏅 Tournament MVP: Kai Johnson — Absolutely locked down center field with some unbelievable catches!

These boys are building something that’s bigger than wins and championships. They’re building a mindset rooted in fundamentals, accountability and character. Those are the things that will stay with them long after the final score is forgotten and what makes these boys so special. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.
