Weekend Race Recap

Friday night at Palmyra Speedway Kylor Peace picked up his first heat race and feature win at Palmyra Speedway.

Saturday Josh struggled in qualifying ending up 15th. Able to finish 3rd in his heat. Started 7th in the A main and was collected up in a wreck ending his night.

Weekend Racing Summary 🏁
On Friday evening, Kylor competed at Palmyra Speedway, securing 2nd place in the heat and ultimately finishing in 2nd place.

On Saturday, Josh participated in the event at Butler Motor Speedway commencing with a 14th place qualifying position. He proceeded to finish 6th in his heat, with only top 5 finishers advancing. Nonetheless, he was able to pick up the B-main, securing the 16th starting position for the feature event, where he ultimately finished 4th, picking up the hard charger award.

On Sunday, at Farminghill Kart Club Kylor achieved victories in both heats and the feature event.

Kylor achieved a sweep with victories in both heats and the feature. Smo secured 3rd place in the first heat, won the second heat, and claimed the feature.

Cridersville recap, First time ever seeing the track was when we pulled in. With the help of race friends we was pretty close on gearing. After hotlaps we needed to fine tune to get the rpm correct. Heat 1 Kylor started p2 running second his engine slid back (someone didn't tightened it up, i.e. me) finished dnf. Heat 2 started p5 he got into 3rd fairly quick. With a late race pass to end up finishing in p2. Feature with the first heat mishap Kylor had to start p5 got to 4th on first lap or so. Was all over 3rd until the last couple laps, when his tires seemed to go away. Ended up finishing 4th.

All in all for waking up and planning on taking the modified to Florence to race. And ending up at Cridersville with the kart. And running very fast basically unprepared. And finishing 4th we'll take it.

Kylor's next schedule race is Farminghill on May 31st. And the next scheduled race for the modified is Butler on May 23rd. See ya at the track!
