If 75% of your diet is whole foods and minimal processed food, you can absolutely afford to utilize the trendy "high protein" labels in the grocery store.

Do I think they should be used constantly, no. But they, with infrequent use, can be very helpful woth keeping you on track.

You don't have to reach your goals alone. In fact, you will probably reach them a LOT faster if you have someone holding you accountable that is OUTSIDE of yourself. Someone to bring you back to reality when your mind is playing games.

Lately this has been my go-to breakfast, and honestly, I've been eating it on repeat.
It's simple, it's easy to make, it's high in protein, and I genuinely enjoy it.

Calories: 430
Protein: 56g

Ingredients:
Protein pancakes
3 oz liquid egg whites
1 scoop protein powder
Egg scramble
4 oz liquid egg whites
1 whole egg
½ serving Minute Rice
1 serving sugar-free maple syrup
Greek yogurt mixed with hot sauce (about 20 calories)
½ tablespoon butter (for cooking)

One of the biggest things I've learned is that finding meals you actually enjoy makes it so much easier to stay consistent. Not every meal needs to be new or exciting. If you have a few meals that are simple, nutritious, and you look forward to eating, there's nothing wrong with putting them on repeat.

There are so many different ways to get to where you're going.

Just because one person's super polished version of meal prep doesn't work for you, doesn't mean you can't meal prep or it's "too much work"- it's not too much work. You just need to find the method that works for you.

It really is the little things. If you find yourself saying things like, "I've been in a calorie deficit for months and nothing has changed", then I hate to break it to you- you're not in a deficit.

MEASURE YOUR FOOD. And get a scale.

But 85% of what you eat can be boring. In fact, I beleive that it SHOULD be boring.

Simple. Nutritious. High protein. And BORING.

The shoe fairy was super helpful with the return process since the first pair that came was a tad too big. Definitely worth it!
