Def14nt Divers Jeremiah discovered his passion for scuba diving in 1996 when he earned his Open Water Diver certification while attending the U.S.

Def14nt Divers provides exceptional scuba diving education and experiences that inspire confidence, safety, and adventure; fostering a supportive and engaging environment for divers of all levels. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. After graduating, he served as a submarine officer aboard both Fast Attack and Ballistic Missile submarines, cultivating a lifelong connection to the ocean. Over his Navy

career, Jeremiah remained devoted to scuba diving, a passion he now shares with his wife Tracy and their children. Following in their father’s footsteps, both children are avid divers, with his son currently working toward his Divemaster certification. Jeremiah has always been a teacher at heart. He began as an instructor in Seizan Ryu Kempo Jujutsu at the Colorado Academy of Martial Arts, later founding the Connecticut Academy of Martial Arts in Stonington, CT. He also taught at the Navy's Submarine School in Groton, CT, honing his skills as an educator and mentor. In addition to his expertise in the water, Jeremiah is a seasoned cybersecurity instructor, guiding IT professionals—including administrators, directors, and program managers—toward achieving their career goals. As an IT Career Planning Instructor and EC-Council Cybersecurity Career Mentor, Jeremiah empowers students from diverse backgrounds to excel in the technology field. As the founder of Def14nt Divers, Jeremiah combines his passion for scuba diving and teaching. He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer, qualified to teach over 13 dive specialties. Whether introducing beginners to the underwater world or helping advanced divers refine their skills, Jeremiah brings expertise, patience, and enthusiasm to every dive. Today, Jeremiah dedicates nearly all his time to teaching—whether it’s scuba diving through Def14nt Divers or advancing the careers of IT professionals through his company Def14nt Cyber.
