Just another hard day at the office… 😂🏎️

A group of us got to spend a few hours at Overdrive Raceway yesterday hanging out with their owner, racing (and getting a little competitive), eating, playing arcade games and having an absolute BLAST.

But the best part is getting to partner with another local business that believes in what we’re doing.

Overdrive Raceway has stepped up as a sponsor of Hope on the Rocks AND donated to our silent auction, helping us raise money for Hope Floats Foundation and get more kids into life-saving swim lessons. 💙

Thank you to the entire Overdrive team for supporting our mission, welcoming our crazy crew, and giving us such a fun day together.

🚨 WE’RE OUT IN THE COMMUNITY! 🚨

Deana and Kory are hitting the streets, meeting local businesses, community leaders, and incredible people who believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn life-saving water safety skills. 💙

We’re spreading the word about Hope On The Rocks — and we’re looking for YOU to join us in making a BIG impact! 🥂✨

Our goal is to raise $150,000 to fund 200 scholarships for children to receive water safety education and world-class swim instruction through Little Fins Swim School. Every $750 raised can provide one child with 12 one-on-one swim lessons — and that can be life-changing. 🏊‍♀️💙

Learning to swim shouldn't be a privilege. It's a life-saving skill.

For many Colorado Springs families, the cost of consistent swim lessons is out of reach. That's exactly the gap Hope Floats Foundation exists to close — and Hope on the Rocks is how we fund it.

$750 funds about 3 months of swim instruction for one child. Every ticket, bid, and donation on September 26 puts a real kid into real lessons.

17 months old and already learning how to find his way OUT of the water. 💙

Walker kicks on his back to the wall, rolls over, grabs on and climbs himself out.

It’s ridiculously cute to watch, but this is also such an important lifesaving skill. We want our swimmers to know how to find an exit, get themselves to safety and get OUT.

Walker started swimming with Ms. Yelena at just 6 months old. Now, at 17 months, he’s putting those skills together and showing us exactly why starting early + staying consistent matters.

Way to go, buddy. You’re becoming one seriously water-safe little guy! 🌊

Mark your calendars, Colorado Springs — Hope on the Rocks is back for 2026! 🥂🐴

Join us Saturday, September 26 for an evening of dinner, cocktails, live entertainment, and silent & live auctions — all benefiting swim lesson scholarships through the Hope Floats Foundation.

This year's goal: $100,000 to help more local kids learn to swim.

POV: You’re 17 months old and have somewhere VERY important to be. 😂💦

Walker really said, “Hands up. I got this.”

The tiny toddler walk.
The arms going up.
The BABY DIVE. 😭
And then… he recovered completely UNASSISTED. 👏👏👏

And Ms. Yelena? Right there making sure her little man looked like an absolute ⭐️ while letting HIM do the work.

But here’s the part we really want parents to see:

Walker started swimming with us at just 6 months old.

At 17 months, he doesn’t just love the water, he’s spent nearly a YEAR building the skills, confidence, and muscle memory to know what to do when he gets in.

Cute? RIDICULOUSLY.
Impressive? ABSOLUTELY.
Water safety? THAT’S THE GOAL. 💙

Start early. Stay consistent. Watch what they can do. 🌊
