Fitness is a journey and will ebb and flow as you age. Don’t panic, take a deep breath, and remind yourself that gains can be fluid. These pics are some of my journey over the last ten years. I went from ripped to wobbly and soft after 8 orthopedic surgeries in 4 years (ankle clean out and repair, hip replacement, knee replacement, ankle replacement, 3 elbow surgeries and a wrist surgery). I also was put on steroids for my asthma 3x a day and that absolutely made me gain weight.
So I’m going to breathe, accept that my workouts will be drastically different, and have faith that I will rebound quickly and gain strength again. And I will, because I know how.
