Early Sunday morning, a shooting took place near the complex in Brownwood where the Midnight Madness tournament was being played. While we are still unclear on all the details surrounding the incident, we are incredibly thankful that, by the grace of God, no one was injured.
Our hearts & prayers are with the players, coaches, families, umpires, tournament staff & everyone else who experienced this terrifying situation. We are so grateful that our team had already left the complex, but our hearts still hurt knowing that so many others were affected. No one should ever have to experience something like this, especially at a place where our girls & families come together to play the game they love!
May God continue to watch over everyone involved, bring peace & comfort to those affected & keep our softball community safe. 🤍🥎🙏🏼
