Martinsville-Henry County YMCA Volleyball league The League consist of 8 teams. The fall league started on 9\15\11. The Winter League started 1/5/12 with a round or practices games Unlimited Females

The New Volleyball League Rules

1. Female must touch the Volleyball before it is returned over the net.

2. Can only have 3 men on the court at one time. Maximum number of substitutes that can be picked up is 2. MUST BE ON A LEAGUE ROSTER AND PAID THE YMCA VOLLEYBALL FEE!!

4. Maximum number of under 40 year old plauers on a rosetr is 2. if you have 2 under 40 year old players on the court and ne

ed a sub the sub has to be over 40 years old,

5. Men are allowed to block other males not females. A block does not count as a hit.

6. Male windmill hits are not allowed must be either 2 handed or contacted and released with-in general are of the head with no follow thru. ( basicly back of head to front of head)

7. Must have at least 4 people on court or forfiet. (this counts two subs)

8. Men may not serve overhanded

9. Any forcefill hit inside the green line(10ft line) are not allowed and will be replayed. Any forcegul hit that strikes a female inside the green line whether downward or not shall be replayed unless the female was attempting to make a play on the ball.. Captains will make this call.

10. Any disagreements will result in replay
