Brunswick Blitz Mid Summer Blast Champions!
This was their last tournament of the season (final tourney in 10U) & these girls showed up & made it count. 💪💪

They did it!
The girls battled today & came out on top in a 6-5 championship game vs. Classie Lassies Comets in the Valley Vipers Summer Slam. They showed true grit & hustled their way to the #1 spot. 💪

We may have only got 1 pool play game in due to the rain but JJ brought the thunder in Game 1 with 3 bomb HRs up the center! Back at it tomorrow for the Valley Vipers tourney to finish pool play & take on the bracket!

Cohoes Rush Riptide is heading into tournament weekend at the Capital Region Spring Stampede!💜🖤

Update: A 4-1 loss in bracket plays to Frozen Ropes. The girls played a great game & came up short. The level of competition and lessons learned in this tourney were invaluable.

Game 1 Highlights:
Bea with 14ks slaying it on the mound for a MVO!
Layla with a hard hit ball to deep center for a homerun! JJ with an impressive snag to a ball hit hard to left field!

Game 2 Highlights:
Tough 6-1 loss against some impressive pitching.
Fielding on point with Brynn snagging a high hit foul ball, Lily fielding some hard hit balls and getting those outs at 1B, Avery and Lily working flawlessly together at 1B/2B & Hunter playing a solid short stop. Whitney and Kelsie held it down on the mound & there were some great hits. Layla with the MVO for a hard hit ball up the middle.

Game 3 Highlights:
What a close game! The game MVO Whitney tied the game up at the top of the 4th inning with a 3 run homerun! Vee, Amarah and Kennedy played a great outfield and got those balls in FAST! With Kennedy and Avery in scoring position we came up just short.

The whole team is vibing & doing work.
