Hello, Nado Sports Families!
If you haven’t heard yet, the state has implemented a new law that changes how coaches and school staff can communicate with students. Coaches and staff may no longer use social media, personal text messaging, or other non-Board-approved platforms to communicate directly with students.
With that change, Coffeyville Public Schools is excited to introduce ParentSquare as our new communication platform! ParentSquare will be used by coaches and staff to communicate with parents/guardians and students about athletics, activities, announcements, schedules, and more.
Secondary students will also have access to StudentSquare. Students in secondary grades will be able to download the StudentSquare app and can be added to their appropriate groups using the same link provided below. The information and resources for StudentSquare are available on the same webpage as the ParentSquare information.
We’ve included a link with information to help you get started, including how to download the app, preview videos, and resources to help you learn how to navigate ParentSquare and StudentSquare.

One more important note: Coaches are being asked not to comment on social media posts involving students or athletes. However, coaches who have established pages may continue to maintain those pages for alumni and community members to see game results, accomplishments, celebrations, and all the great things our Nado athletes are doing!
