Like father, like son. 🤠🥹

There is something truly special about watching the next generation follow in their father’s footsteps, especially when it all comes full circle at the place where it began.

Matt Tarr began his rodeo clowning career at the Cody Nite Rodeo, and years later, it’s incredible to see his son, Bransen Tarr, carrying on that same tradition. What makes this story even more special is that Matt has the opportunity to teach his son and pass along his knowledge, experience, and passion for the rodeo world right here at the Cody Nite Rodeo.

Each year, Matt returns to Cody as the barrelman for the Cody Stampede Rodeo, making this community and these rodeo arenas an important part of his story. Now, seeing Bransen follow in his father’s footsteps brings that story full circle.

We are honored to be part of a story that continues to grow with each generation, and we can’t wait to see all that Bransen accomplishes as he follows his own path in the rodeo world.

Congratulations to Matt Tarr on making the 2026 NFR Barrelman shortlist! We’re proud to celebrate him and we are grateful that the Cody Nite Rodeo has played a part in the Tarr family’s rodeo journey.
