With the heat I haven’t done concession specials because nobody wants a heavy meal before they sit and roast in the sun! That being said… looking like it might cool down… thoughts on l&j’s soup beans and corn bread the 12th and roadhouse pulled pork and rolls the 10/3? Did everyone like those 2 specials?

Despite the heat, you really can’t beat football Saturdays. One of these days, it might even start feeling like fall. Never know. Crazier things have happened!

We’ve been blessed with a slew of home games this season. We’ll get one more at home next Saturday, and then we’ll hit the road for a couple of weeks. Results from this week:

Flag - no official score, but saw some good things!

C - BIG W over an undefeated South Gallia team!

B - W

A - L, but an expo game

Does anyone have videos to share of b and a running out of the tunnel? (Sorry chance of rain was too high for flag and c! We can’t put that thing up wet, it’d ruin!)

Saturday is Homecoming for our young Hornets. Please come out and show your support as our C and B teams take on the South Gallia Rebels and our A team takes on the Raceland Rams!

Attendants and their escorts will be announced during halftime of our B game!

I know it’s a scorcher, so I picked up some towels and ice I’ll send in a cooler tonight. Please tell your kids if they want me to keep doing this there are rules:
1. Players only
2. Once you get a towel keep it, you can redip it but please tell your kid don’t use it on their nose or mouth, to keep from spreading illness! Use them to cool down on the head neck and arms
3. Return them in a pile next to rhe cooler and I’ll wash them up for the next hot practice

Be sure to capture videos of your hype guys this season! I’ve been really impressed with them so far and I think we need end of season video submissions for best hype guy! The winner will get a prize that’s super extra to use for NOISE at games! ❤️ I see you guys out there! Keep hyping our players up!!! You’re doing awesome!

Saturdays at the Grove are back and these boys did not disappoint!

Both flag teams came out and played well. I saw lots of scoring. Nice work!

C and B teams. All I can say is, wow! Way to put on a show! How’s it feel to Kill the Hill boys?! 💪

Keep your heads up A team! That is a very talented team you played. Let’s come back Monday and put in the work.

Thank you to fans on both sides for coming and keeping things friendly! Today was a blast, and it’s good to see that the Grove and Hill are keeping this friendly rivalry alive!
