CEC Families,

We are excited to invite all parents in the CEC Hockey Association to a FREE Parent Concussion Education Session presented by Community Memorial Hospital.

Thursday, October 1
6:00–7:00 PM
Northwoods Arena – Upstairs Board Room

Jessica Ochis, Director of Rehabilitation at Community Memorial Hospital, and her team will be joining us to provide parents with practical information and resources related to concussions and head injuries.

Topics will include:
• Parent and player education
• Concussion prevention
• Recognizing head injuries
• Post-concussion protocols
• Resources available to families
• And much more

Head injuries can happen both on and off the ice, and we want our families to feel informed and prepared. This is an excellent opportunity to learn directly from local professionals, ask questions, and better understand how we can help keep our athletes safe.

We will also be offering two additional parent education sessions on Saturday. Times and additional details will be shared soon.
