Our fundraising is off to a great start with several generous donations!

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to buying the necessary new equipment for our upcoming fall season, buying supplementary materials to improve our game day and school spirit presence, helping students lower the cost of involvement, and helping us prepare for Clinton High Schools first ever season of Winter Guard!

The Cardinal Pride Color Guard is launching its very first Very Important Cardinal or VIC Fundraiser! This is a sponsorship based fundraiser where donors (family, friends, businesses, other groups, etc.) will be credited as sponsors of the team and provided with some thank you gifts based on donation which are listed in our picture below.

We have four sponsorship tiers where you can be a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum VIC (Very Important Cardinal) for donations of $25, $50, $100, or $250+ to the team. These donations help the team with uniforms, equipment, travel, and an expansion of our season so they can have more performance opportunities! Our team is growing rapidly (nearly doubling from last season to now) and while we’re thrilled with this growth, it does come with some expenses.

We request that donors follow the QR code in our flyer or the link listed here to fill out a very brief form so we know who to thank and bring some goodies to!

Our next senior in the celebration lineup is Ashlyn Swartz. Ashlyn has spun her sophomore through senior years in the color guard in “Mirage”, “Imagine”, and a featured soloist in “Till Death Do Us Part”. In that time she has performed on flag and air blade. She has served as a captain of the team and our head social media manager who has been creating all of our graphics to post throughout her senior year. She is intuitive and resilient, as well as our inaugural recipient of the National School Color Guard Award for her contributions, dedication, and leadership in her time on the team. Ashlyn plans to attend Missouri State University to major in business administration before getting her real estate license.

She would like to say “If color guard taught me anything, it’s how to smile through absolute chaos.”

It’s that time of year. We’ve celebrated the 2025-2026 year with our end of year banquet, and now we need to celebrate our seniors as they prepare to graduate and go out into the world!

Our first senior of this series is Lydia Stowell. Lydia spun her junior and senior years with the color guard in “Imagine” and “Till Death Do Us Part”. In that time she performed both flag and air blade. She is passionate and determined in all that she does. Lydia plans to attend Missouri State University to major in English as a Second Language Elementary Education.

She would like to say “Don’t be afraid to try new things! You might surprise yourself!”

Audition week is finally here! Everyone will meet up in the high school band room after school and auditions will run each day 3:30-4:30 in the high school gym.
Unless it’s communicated prior, it’s especially important that everyone auditioning is there on May 1st to see everyone all at once!
