Update from the night: we started second in our heat race but fell back to fourth. The car just didn't have enough pull. We have been fighting gremlins for weeks now and this was another one to find. We found a couple things that would contribute to our issue so we swapped things out and crossed out fingers.

We were to start the main event in 7th position and right off the start, we knew we had a much better car and was now back to being more competitive. Dylan worked up to fourth and it took a few laps to get around to 3rd place. After a few restarts and a green white checkered finish, we were very close to passing for second but just ran out of time. Feels good to finally have something to actually be tweaking on and improving from here. Plan is to go to Travelers Rest next weekend.

We are back to racing this weekend at Laurens Speedway after some vacations and upgrades to the Bagwell Fabrication and the Rouge Chassis car! Well due to our race the last time out the 12 car got a little hurt so we had to pull the 17 out of retirement for a little while till we figure out what where going to do so y’all come out and see us tonight

Whelp, not a great night for us! Did finish 3rd in the main is the only good thing for the night. In the heat race, Dylan shot the gap coming off 2, real estate disappeared in a hurry, and ended up cutting our right rear with outside car. Tire decided to pop as he was going into turn 3 and Dylan was able to just have the car back up into the wall with not a lot of damage. Take a breath it gets better!

However, after a few seconds later a car came in turn 3 in a hurry and side swiped Dylan. Shoved motor over, left front destroyed, rear end out of alignment, found busted transmission after the main, and frame on drivers side seems to be dumped as well. Have a lot of work to do but will be a few weeks before we are back. Good news, Dylan is ok and we did salvage 3rd place finish.
