This year is a special one for the Iowa Rugby Union Hall of Fame as they also inducted the 2004 DIII National Championship Muddy River Rugby Club! Congratulations to this great group!

The boys went 2-2 yesterday 7’s! Showed a lot of heart and grit in every match. Thank you to Dubuque Rugby for lending us some awesome ruggers for the day. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Our next outing will be June 28th City for Block Party 7’s!

It was a great weekend for rugby. We took home 1st place in the Fish Bones 10’s tournament in Clinton. Proud of the way we played but we can always get better. Huge shout out to the Muddy River Rugby Club for hosting a great event. Surely will be back in the future.

Great day of Rugby for everyone today! We had a great turnout and it was a day full of amazing rugby. Congratulations to Dubuque for being the first ever Muddy 10’s Champions! Muddy River was able to go 2-1 and get second place! Congratulations to Ben Degan for winning Man of The Tournament! Thank you all for coming! See you next year!

Muddy River Rugby hosts the 1st Annual Fish Bones 10's Rugby Tournament on this Saturday, March 15th. We are hosting Dubuque, Iowa City, & University of Wisconsin Platteville. We will have 5 twenty-five minute matches. Kick Off is at Noon & the trophy ceremony is at 3:30. We are selling event t-shirts for $20. Smoked pork butts & cold beer all day.
